Overview

Signals to Read - Cold Reading is an educational and reference app published by ProfileGetServices LLC. It works without an app account and contains no advertising, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking technology.

App Data and Storage

Favorites, custom observations, notes, ordering, settings, and practice progress are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. When iCloud is available and enabled for your Apple ID, supported app data may sync through your private, app-specific iCloud and CloudKit database.

ProfileGetServices LLC does not operate an account server or custom cloud backend for this app and cannot browse the app data stored on your device or in your private iCloud database. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Microphone, Speech, and On-Device Drafting

Optional dictation uses your device microphone and Apple's Speech framework only after you grant the requested system permissions. You can type instead, and the core reviewed library does not require microphone or speech access.

On supported devices, optional structured cold-read drafting uses Apple Foundation Models on device. The app does not send your dictated or typed situation to a ProfileGetServices LLC server, third-party AI provider, or third-party analytics service. Apple system features remain subject to your device settings and Apple's applicable privacy terms.

Purchases

Apple StoreKit processes subscription purchases, verified transaction status, renewals, and restoration. The app reads the minimum transaction information needed to determine Premium access. There is no third-party purchase SDK or entitlement service.

Apple may process payment details and purchase history under its own privacy policy. The app does not receive your full payment-card information.

Data Sharing, Analytics, and Tracking

We do not sell personal data, show targeted advertising, track you across apps or websites, or include a third-party analytics SDK. The app does not provide social networking, messaging, user profiles, or user-to-user content sharing.

Retention and Deletion

You can edit or delete custom observations and related data in the app. Removing the app deletes local app data, subject to device backups and any private iCloud copy managed through your Apple account. You can manage iCloud data and permissions in Apple system settings. Apple controls retention of App Store transaction records.

Educational Use

The app teaches that cold reads are provisional hypotheses, never proof of emotion, intent, attraction, consent, or deception. It does not diagnose people or provide medical, legal, safety, hiring, or investigative services.
