Privacy Policy

Overview
Loop Pause is designed to work without an account. The app does not include advertising or cross-app tracking. Limited, pseudonymous product analytics help us understand the purchase flow and improve its reliability.
Data collection
The app does not send your task titles, task instructions, note text, exact task duration, transaction identifiers, advertising identifiers, health data, contacts, or precise location. It does not associate analytics with a name, email address, or app account.
Limited analytics
App Store and TestFlight versions use PostHog to record a random app-install identifier, whether the build came from TestFlight or the App Store, and non-content product events such as onboarding, category selection, task starts and outcomes, report use, purchase screens, purchases, and restoration outcomes. These events may include Mental or Physical category, built-in or custom task type, a broad duration range, start method, premium access status, purchase type, or paywall source. Automatic interaction capture, screen recording, session replay, user profiles, and location enrichment are disabled. Standard app and device information may accompany an internet request, and the request's IP address is processed as part of normal network delivery. Local development builds do not send PostHog analytics. PostHog acts as our analytics service provider and does not receive data for advertising or tracking. Learn more in the PostHog privacy policy.
Data stored on your device
Your custom tasks, task preferences, completion history, and cancellation history are stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. This data is not uploaded to our servers and is not synced through CloudKit. Removing the app removes its local data.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The app reads the verified purchase entitlement needed to unlock access. We do not operate a purchase database or receive your payment-card details. Apple's handling of App Store purchase information is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
Live Activities
If you start a task, Loop Pause may show its status in a Live Activity on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. This uses Apple system features on your device and does not send the task to our servers.
