How to play
In HandMeasure AR, open Musical Instrument.
Start here
Choose Piano and try the onscreen keys. Tap or slide across them to play; a key also starts sound if it is stopped. Turn up your device’s media volume. Choose Touch keyboard to play without the camera.
Play with one hand
Keep your full hand in view. Move left or right to choose a note; move up or down to change octave. Pinch thumb and index together to play. Release the pinch for silence. Small movements cover the full range.
Head or All
Head: move left/right for notes and up/down for octaves. Nod to play, then return to neutral. All: use your melody hand and pinch or nod; head movement takes over when hands aren’t visible.
Recenter & sound
In Camera gestures, get comfortable, tap Recenter, and hold your hands or face in view for two seconds. Use the volume slider and Echo to shape the sound. Stop sound silences the instrument; tap a key or Start sound when ready.
